We are committed to delivering high-quality AI-generated professional headshots. This policy outlines the specific circumstances under which refunds are available and the timeframes that apply.

⚠️ Important Notice

Refunds are NOT available if uploaded photos do not meet our quality requirements.

The quality of AI-generated headshots depends entirely on the quality and suitability of your input photos. Before uploading and purchasing, please carefully review our Photo Requirements below to ensure your photos are eligible.

  • All photos must be of the same person
  • All photos must be the same gender (no mixing male and female photos)
  • Each photo must contain only one person (no group photos)
  • Photos must be clear, well-lit, and high quality
  • No filters, heavy editing, or AI-generated images

If you upload photos that do not meet these requirements and are unsatisfied with the results, you will NOT be eligible for a refund.

Refund Timeframe

All refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of your payment date.

After this 14-day period, we cannot process any refund requests, regardless of the circumstances. The payment date is recorded in your order confirmation email and visible in your order history.

Eligible for Full Refund

You are eligible for a complete refund in the following situations:

  • Technical Failure: The AI training process fails completely, and we are unable to generate any headshots after multiple attempts.
  • Service Unavailability: Our service experiences an extended outage (more than 72 hours) that prevents the completion of your order.
  • Duplicate Charge: You were charged multiple times for the same order due to a payment processing error.
  • Unauthorized Transaction: The purchase was made without your authorization (subject to verification and fraud investigation).

Eligible for Partial Refund (50%)

You may be eligible for a 50% refund in these specific cases:

  • Significant Quality Issues: The generated headshot has severe technical defects (e.g., severe distortion, unrecognizable face, missing facial features), confirmed by our quality review team.
  • Incomplete Delivery: The headshot generation failed completely, and we cannot regenerate the image.
  • Processing Time Exceeded: The order takes longer than 48 hours to complete (excluding server outages or force majeure events).

Photo Requirements (Critical)

To ensure optimal results and refund eligibility, your uploaded photos MUST meet ALL of the following requirements:

1. Single Subject Requirement

  • Each photo must contain only ONE person
  • NOT allowed: Group photos, photos with multiple faces, photos with other people in the background
  • Allowed: Solo photos where only your face is visible

2. Same Person Requirement

  • All 1-3 photos must be of the exact same individual
  • NOT allowed: Uploading photos of different people, family members, friends, or colleagues
  • Allowed: Only photos of yourself (or the person who ordered the service)

3. Gender Consistency Requirement

  • All photos must be of the same gender
  • NOT allowed: Mixing male and female photos in the same order
  • Allowed: All male photos OR all female photos (not both)
  • If the AI detects mixed genders, you will NOT be eligible for a refund

4. Photo Quality Standards

  • Resolution: Minimum 512x512 pixels (higher is better)
  • Clarity: Photos must be sharp and in focus (not blurry or pixelated)
  • Lighting: Well-lit with good exposure (not too dark or overexposed)
  • Color: Natural colors (no heavy filters, black & white is acceptable)
  • NOT allowed: Blurry, low-resolution, grainy, heavily compressed, or poor-quality photos

5. Face Visibility Requirements

  • Your face must be fully visible and unobstructed
  • NOT allowed: Sunglasses, masks, scarves, hats, hoodies, hands covering face, hair covering face, side/back views
  • Allowed: Clear frontal or slight angle photos where your entire face is visible
  • At least 70% of photos should be frontal or near-frontal angles

6. Photo Type Requirements

  • Preferred: Head and shoulders photos, waist-up photos
  • NOT allowed: Extreme selfies, full-body photos, profile/side views only, back views, distant shots
  • Photos should be taken from chest level or above
  • Your face should occupy at least 30% of the photo area

7. Variety and Diversity Requirements

  • Upload photos with different angles, expressions, lighting, and backgrounds
  • Include variety in facial expressions (smiling, neutral, serious)
  • Include variety in angles (straight-on, slight left, slight right)
  • NOT allowed: All photos from the same photoshoot with identical pose/background/lighting
  • More variety = Better AI training = Better results

8. Editing and Authenticity Requirements

  • Photos must be real, unedited photographs of an actual person
  • NOT allowed: AI-generated images, cartoon/anime images, paintings, drawings, heavily filtered photos (Instagram filters, Snapchat filters, etc.)
  • NOT allowed: Extreme beauty filters, face-morphing apps, face-swapping apps
  • Allowed: Light color correction, basic brightness/contrast adjustments
  • Photos should represent how you actually look

9. Quantity Requirements

  • You must upload between 1 and 3 photos
  • NOT allowed: Fewer than 1 photo or more than 3 photos
  • Uploading too few photos will result in poor-quality results
  • The system will reject orders that don't meet the quantity requirement

⚠️ CRITICAL: You are solely responsible for ensuring your photos meet these requirements.

If you upload photos that violate any of the above requirements and are dissatisfied with the results, you will NOT be eligible for any refund. Our automatic detection systems will flag some issues, but cannot catch everything. It is YOUR responsibility to verify compliance before uploading.

NOT Eligible for Refund

Refunds will NOT be granted under the following circumstances. Please read carefully:

A. Photo Input Issues (User Responsibility)

These issues are caused by user-uploaded photos not meeting requirements. Refunds are NOT available.

  • Mixed Gender Photos: You uploaded photos of both male and female individuals in the same order. The AI cannot generate consistent headshots when trained on mixed genders. All photos must be of the same gender.
  • Multiple People in Photos: Your uploaded photos contain multiple faces or group photos. Each photo must show only ONE person. Photos with friends, family, or colleagues in the frame are not acceptable.
  • Different People in Different Photos: You uploaded photos of different individuals (e.g., photos of yourself and photos of your spouse/friend/colleague). All 1-3 photos must be of the exact same person.
  • Low Quality Photos: Your photos are blurry, pixelated, low-resolution (below 512x512), heavily compressed, grainy, or otherwise poor quality. Clear, high-quality input is essential for good output.
  • Poor Lighting: Your photos are too dark, overexposed, have harsh shadows, or inconsistent lighting. Well-lit photos are required for optimal results.
  • Obstructed Face: Your face is partially covered by sunglasses, masks, scarves, hats, hoodies, hands, hair, or other objects. Your face must be fully visible and unobstructed in all photos.
  • Inappropriate Photo Types: You uploaded extreme close-up selfies, full-body photos, profile/side views only, back views, distant shots, or photos where your face occupies less than 30% of the frame.
  • Lack of Photo Variety: All your photos are from the same photoshoot with identical angles, expressions, lighting, and backgrounds. The AI requires variety (different angles, expressions, lighting conditions) to learn and generate diverse professional headshots.
  • Heavily Edited or Filtered Photos: You uploaded photos with heavy Instagram/Snapchat filters, beauty filters, face-morphing apps, or extreme editing. Photos must be natural and represent how you actually look.
  • AI-Generated or Non-Real Photos: You uploaded AI-generated images, cartoon/anime images, paintings, drawings, or other non-photographic content. Only real photographs of actual people are accepted.
  • Incorrect Photo Quantity: You uploaded fewer than 1 or more than 3 photos. The system requires exactly 1-3 photos for optimal training. Too few photos result in poor quality; too many photos are rejected by the system.

B. Subjective Dissatisfaction (Not Refundable)

  • Aesthetic Preferences: You simply don't like the style, artistic interpretation, clothing choices, background selections, or color grading of the generated headshots (e.g., "I don't look professional enough", "I prefer a different background", "The colors don't match my preference", "I wanted a different suit color").
  • Likeness Expectations: You feel the headshots "don't look enough like me" or "look too different", when the AI has processed the input photos you provided. AI-generated images are artistic interpretations based on machine learning, not exact replicas or guaranteed likenesses.
  • Unrealistic Expectations: You expected the results to look identical to a professional photoshoot, make you look significantly different than your input photos, or perform "miracles" beyond the AI's capabilities.

C. Service Already Delivered (Not Refundable)

  • Change of Mind: You no longer need the headshots, changed your mind about using them, decided to hire a professional photographer instead, or simply don't want them anymore after receiving the results.
  • Successful Technical Delivery: The service completed as described—a professional headshot was successfully generated, delivered, and is technically sound (no corruption, proper resolution, downloadable). The AI fulfilled its technical obligations even if you subjectively dislike the result.

D. Policy Violations (Not Refundable)

  • Violation of Any Terms or Policies: You violated any provision of our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, Disclaimer, or any other policy on our website. This includes but is not limited to:
    • Uploading illegal content (drugs, gambling, terrorism, etc.)
    • Uploading child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or photos of minors
    • Uploading sexually explicit, pornographic, or nude content
    • Uploading non-consensual images or impersonating others
    • Uploading photos of celebrities or public figures without authorization
    • Uploading violent, graphic, or hate speech content
    • Violating intellectual property rights (copyright, trademark infringement)
    • Using the service for fraudulent, deceptive, or malicious purposes
    • Attempting to hack, abuse, or compromise the service
    • Creating multiple accounts to evade restrictions
    • Any other violation of website terms, policies, or applicable laws

    If you violate any terms or policies, your payment will be immediately forfeited with absolutely no possibility of refund. Your account will be terminated, all content will be permanently deleted, and you may be banned from future use. Serious violations will be reported to law enforcement.

E. Time and Download Limitations (Not Refundable)

  • After 14-Day Period: Any request submitted more than 14 days after the payment date will be automatically rejected, regardless of the circumstances or reason.
  • Downloaded Content: Once you have downloaded any of the generated headshots, the order is considered fulfilled and refunds are no longer available, even if you haven't used the images publicly. Digital products cannot be "returned" after download.
  • Already Used Content: You have used or publicly shared the generated headshots (e.g., uploaded to LinkedIn, used in marketing materials, shared on social media, printed business cards, included in resume, sent to employer/recruiter).
  • Third-Party Disputes: Chargeback requests filed directly with your bank or credit card company without first contacting our support team may result in account suspension and denial of future service. Always contact support first before initiating a chargeback.

Refund Request Process

  1. Submit Request: Email support@profilelift.pro with the subject line "Refund Request - Order #[Your Order ID]".
  2. Provide Information: Include your order ID, payment date, email address used for the purchase, and a detailed explanation of the issue. Attach screenshots or examples if applicable.
  3. Verification: Our team may request additional information (e.g., the input photos you uploaded, examples of quality issues) to evaluate your claim.
  4. Review Period: We will review your request and respond within 3 business days with a decision.
  5. Refund Processing: If approved, refunds are processed through our payment gateway to your original payment method. Please allow 5-10 business days for the funds to appear in your account (timing depends on your bank).

Alternative Solutions

Before requesting a refund, consider these alternatives:

  • Regeneration: If you're unsatisfied with the results, we may offer a free regeneration with improved input guidelines (one-time offer, subject to quality review).
  • Technical Support: If the issue is related to technical problems (download issues, access problems), our support team can help resolve these quickly.
